What would you do without Google and other search engines that yield results in seconds?

This image started the first workshop I attended entitled "Going Beyond Google: Research Skills and Support for GAs". I thought it was cute, but then thought about it some more afterwards and realized that it's a scary thought. So many of us depend on Google so much and get annoyed if it takes half a second more than it should.

In nutshell, I was reminded that there are several other sources out there that are just as reliable or more reliable than Google and reminded that academic research should be carried out in various other ways.

Trying to get back in school mode guys. I'm almost there!
